Jenni Cook, an Illinois native, received her Bachelor of Music degree from Bradley University and her Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from the University of Illinois. Prior to her appointment as Associate Professor of Music at the University of New Hampshire, Professor Cook served as adjunct voice faculty at Millikin University, Eureka College, and Bradley University. Dr. Cook also enjoys an active performing career and has sung operas, oratorios, and recitals across the United States and abroad in Germany and Austria. She just began her 11th year at UNH where she teaches voice, diction, vocal pedagogy, and honors Introduction to Music.
In February of 2011 Dr. Cook completed her licensure as a teacher of Body Mapping with the Association for Body Mapping Education. Professor Cook looks forward to giving presentations and master classes on preventing injury and promoting facility for musicians in the future.
Dr. Cook has recorded two CDs: Six Women and Live at McLean Chapel. The latter is available for online purchase at Amazon.com. Jenni Cook lives in Nottingham, NH with her husband, Eric, and their two children, Ross and Lili.
