Jeanne
H. Weisman is an independent piano teacher in Munroe Falls,
Ohio. For more than thirty years her studio has comprised
a full range of students of all ages, from beginners through
advanced.
Jeanne is certified by Andover Educators to teach What Every
Pianist Needs to Know about the Body. She is available to
teach the full six-hour course or a selective introduction.
The presentation can be specially designed for actively performing
pianists, teachers, students of all levels and parents of
piano students.
Although she lives in northeast Ohio, Jeanne is available
for workshops at any location.
Jeanne's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree
in music from Whitman College in Washington
State and a Master of Arts degree in musicology from Syracuse
University. She frequently lectures on piano pedagogy and
judges for music organizations, including twenty-four years
as an adjudicator for the National Guild of Piano Teachers.
Jeanne holds Permanent Professional National certification
in both music history and piano from the Music Teachers National
Association.
Jeanne also serves as a consulting editor for the FJH Music
Company of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She has co-authored numerous
publications with Nancy and Randall Faber.
