Deena T. Grossman, teacher, flutist and banjo player has presented "What Every Musician Needs to Know About the Body" at Portland Music Company, Artichoke Music and Sunflower Music Studio in Portland, Oregon.
Deena T. Grossman studied Body Mapping with Barbara Conable and is a Certified Andover Educator. She has a Master of Music degree from Rice University, Shepherd School of Music and teaches with an expert understanding of how to play with enjoyment, ease and beauty.
Her article, What Every Musician Needs to Know the Body, is published in the Fall 2004 issues of Local Lore (Portland Folklore Society), the Portland Guitar Society Quarterly and the Greater Portland Flute Society Newsletter. Ms. Grossman is available to present workshops at schools, music stores and private music studios.
